The Magazine: REVEAL 

Style and Format:
The magazine will sell at £3.99, as the readers have a B1/B2 socioeconomic grouping; and the content and style of the magazine is high-end and sophisticated. However, the magazine is still affordable for it's audience of 20-35year olds, who will have stable jobs. The front cover is nearly always a celebrity, as the brand identity is of a high status; and the main content of the magazine is main up of celebrity interviews. The front cover will be eye-catching, and colourful to attract and appeal to the magazine's millennial audience. The title will always be the same, and positioned in the top left corner; to create a familiarity of the brand. The articles in the magazine will mainly be formal to relate to the highly educated readers; however, the format of the articles will always include images that are gripping and appealing to the reader. The majority of the content will be celebrity related, or trends that are relevant to 21st century; the pages will be varied and will be filled entirely with a brand's promotion or an informative article that has an interview with a politician. The content of 'REVEAL' will be uplifting, powerful, and inclusive to the readers to make the magazine feel suited and tailored to them. Articles containing special offer codes, or competitions will help create a sense of community within the magazine's brand.

Target audience/ readership:
The majority of there readers will be male millennials aged 20-35year old, and of B1/B2 socioeconomic grouping. As the readers will have grown up within the change and transition of society towards post-modernity; the themes addressed in the magazine will be modern and relevant to the 21st century. The high-end content of the magazine and the expensive fashion brands advertised; the magazine target the middle class. However, informative articles such as political interviews and topics will target both the working-class and middle class. The magazine will address it's millennial audience by selecting mature topics to discuss such as drugs, violence and other emotional issues in it's articles. The readers will be highly educated, and socially aware of social and political issues. Readers of 'REVEAL' are innovative, and determining to succeed in their career and social life; therefore the magazine tailors for the reader's social and economical interests.

The editorial team for 'REVEAL' will be male millennials aged 20-35years old; as they will have the best sense for what the audience for the magazine wants. Readers of the magazine will often be given the chance to input ideas for upcoming articles, compete in competitions or giveaways; to create an inclusive atmosphere to the magazine.

Themes:
By interviewing different people each month; the magazine will gain a variety of perspectives and opinions on certain trends or issues. The themes will mainly include fashion, whereby designers will showcase their latest collection; or 'REVEAL' will include interviews with the newest young designers. Therefore, this will engage their millennial audience. The magazine will keep updated with celebrity gossip, but will display it's informative in a sophisticated manner; and will display authentic material from the celebrities themselves in forms of interviews. As well as this, the magazine will have political articles; mainly relating to British politics. In the issue I will explore, there is an article in Brexit. The magazine will include articles on finance, and economical trends and aspects; such as information on the economy.

Potenital advertisers:
A variety of brands will advertise in the magazine each month; mainly brands associated with men's fashion such as Gucci, Champion, Prada and many more.  As well as that, fitness brands such as Nike, and Adidas will be advertised throughout. Due to the magazine tailoring for millennials, the advertisers will be selected in the best interests of 20-35 year olds; so sophisticated designers such as Prada will be perfect for the reader. The magazine will keep updated with the latest trends, and therefore will keep in touch with it's millennial audience.

Front page for magazine (planning + drafts):

Planning: I took some long shot images of the individual who would represent the actor, Rob Young, who stars in the film 'The Struggle'. I selected a bright, and appealing background to engage the audience; I kept a restricted colour palette in mind when taking these images to link back to my magazine article. By using warm, yellow tones in the image I was able to create convergence between my front cover, double page spread, and the title shown in the documentary. Using the rule of three, I ensured the individual was placed in the centre of the shot, and took up the majority of the image; to convey a high status and significance of a celebrity appeal to the magazine. In terms of proxemics, I placed the individual in the centre of the shot; to engage the audience, and to allow me to place my text on either side.
